Our History
Perma Pools was started by Terry Mungle in 1987 to bring the fiberglass pool to the Indianapolis market. Bill Lambert purchased the business from Terry in 1999, in 2019 Bill sold the business to the current owner Dan Majestic.
Perma Pools started building one-piece fiberglass pools in 1987 and essentially created the market for these pools in Indianapolis. We have built various manufacturers' fiberglass pools since our inception. We now exclusively sell Latham fiberglass pools and have done so since 1998.
In 2005, in response to our market conditions, we entered into an agreement with Imperial Pools of Latham NY, a recognized industry leading manufacturer of vinyl liner inground pool kits. Pursuant to that agreement, we took on Imperial's Legacy line of vinyl liner inground pools.
We have now built well over 4,000 inground pools in Central Indiana. We continue to build our business on designing and installing the highest quality inground pools whether fiberglass or vinyl liner. Our quality management systems have been registered and certified as ISO 9001 compliant. We are Central Indiana's only Latham Fiberglass Pool dealer and Central Indiana's only Legacy Pool dealer.
Our main sales & construction office is located on the south side of Indianapolis at 5245 Elmwood Ave Indianapolis, IN 46203. We also have a second location on the north west side at 10350 North Michigan Road Carmel IN, 46032. At this location we store all our fiberglass shells. We welcome you to stop by and look at the various Latham pool models.

We are located on the southside of Indianapolis at 5245 Elmwood Avenue, in Beech Grove adjacent to the 465 loop; however, we consider our building territory to be all of Central Indiana and maybe a bit more.
