Ron is our Vice President of Sales and General Manager. Ron’s input is felt company wide due to his extensive construction and product knowledge. Ron has primary responsibility for all the pool sale strategies and appointments as well as provides input throughout Perma's construction operations. Ron started Perma's vinyl liner division in 2005.
Ron has been in the swimming pool business since he was 15 when he worked in a family owned swimming pool construction business. Ron continued to work in the business for most of the next 19 years in all facets of the swimming pool business from digging a ditch to sales and management. In 1980, Ron signed up for the Army and served in the military police.
After working for the family business, Ron continued working in the swimming pool industry in various management positions building both vinyl liner inground pools and concrete pools. Ron has also served as the Vice President of the local NSPI, taught various courses to pool builders and even lobbied the Indiana EPA on issues relevant to the swimming pool industry.
Ron has a passion for raising and showing English Mastiffs and has done so for 17 years. Ron has 2 children and lives on the Southside of Indianapolis.
Ed is Perma Pools Vice President of Construction & Renovation Operations. He has been with Perma Pools since 2007. Ed’s responsibilities include coordinating all construction activities for the installation of all the pools Perma installs each year. He is also responsible for managing our crews on a day to day basis, our Renovation Department and a variety of other office duties.
Ed graduated from Greenwood High School in 1982 and joined his family pool business full time after working summers learning the pool installation trade since the age of 13. He advanced to crew leader at 15 and went on to personally install well over 1,500 swimming pools. He has worked in just about every facet of the swimming pool business in his 40 + years’ in the pool industry and brings vast experience and knowledge to the Perma Pools team.
Ed is happily married and lives in Greenwood. Between himself & his wife they have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. They jokingly call themselves the “Brady Bunch” since they have 3 boys & 3 girls. Ed enjoys vacationing with his wife in the off-season. He is a self-proclaimed “Grill Master” and is continually sharpening his mastery of his smoking of a variety types of meats using his own secret Spice Rub.
Dan is the president and owner of Perma Pools. Dan’s passions are rooted in strong customer
service and high quality and performance. Prior to Perma Pools, Dan spent much of his career in
diabetes sales and leadership positions at Roche Diagnostics. He has also done healthcare consulting
and manages a rental property business at Ball State University. Dan graduated from Indiana University
of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania where he met his wife, Melissa. Dan has been married to
Melissa for 30 years. Dan and Melissa live in Fishers, IN and have 3 wonderful children: Sarah (25 years
old), Daniel (23 years old), Maria (20 years old). Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with friends
and family, grilling, cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams, and playing with his family’s 2 dogs, Maybelle
(Boxer, 2 years old) and Marianne (Boston Terrier, 9 years old).
Bill is the Vice President Operations of Perma Pools and former owner of the company.
Bill hs helped the company develop a culture that is customer driven and predicated on continual improvement. Bill is primarily involved in operational functions.
Bill started in the pool business in 1999. Prior to Perma Pools, Bill practiced law in Dayton, Ohio representing a variety of small business clients, often in the areas of real estate, construction and business law. Bill graduated from the University of Redlands in California in 1978 with a BA in English (cum laude) and from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1981.
Bill has 3 children, Ryan, Sarah and Margo and has been married to his wife Sherry for 34 years. Bill and Sherry and live in Fishers (the kids are out of the house!). Bill has 1 dogs, and two cats. Bill's hobbies include tennis and boating.
Is the Vice President- Service and Service Manager of Perma Pools since 1995. Pam directs five service crews each day to serve the needs of our customers in Central Indiana. Pam is NSPI Tech I certified as of 12/28/92. Pam grew up in the pool industry and many of her family members are in the business making for lively family discussions.
Prior to Perma Pools, Pam was the operations director for another pool company. Pam has also worked in swimming pool distribution and in a family owned pool company in Seymour, Indiana.
Pam is from a big family (4 sisters, 3 brothers) and helps with her sister's handicapped child, Drew, known as her "BFF". She likes vacationing in warm locations and shopping in small boutiques. Pam has met Robert Redford. Some of Pam's favorite movies include the Count of Monte Cristo, The Way We Were and Forest Gump.
Pam's motto is "Open your pool early to be prepared and close late and get in lots of swimming!"
Jenny joined Perma Pools in 2013 as Controller. Jenny is in charge of managing the office operations, including bookkeeping, facilities, customer relations and further developing the operating procedures of the company. Jenny grew up in Carmel, Indiana and now resides in Southport, Indiana. She is amazing with spread sheets and is a joy to work with!
Prior to Perma Pools, Jenny was in the pool business for 17 years in various capacities, including administrative, pool store manager, and pool service coordinator positions.
Jenny's hobbies include reading and she loves all forms of racing and college basketball. She has 2 daughters, Faryn and Christen.
Paul graduated from Monrovia High School in 1987 and is the Vice President, Cover Operations. Paul has been in the swimming pool
business with Perma Pools for 17 years, including his first 7 years as a service technician. Paul directs 3 cover service/install crews and sells and markets replacement covers and retro automatic cover systems.
Prior to Perma Pools, Paul was with a pool distributiion company in various capacities. Paul's hobbies include golf, model building and he likes to host poker parties. His favorite restraunt is The Journey in Fishers.
